Formed in southern Germany in 2008, “THE ATLANTIC HEART” had recorded their first 4-Track EP by the summer of the same year.

Together with Wilhelm Dammeier (Guano Apes) and “Ace” Martin Kent, the songwriter and guitarist of the UK-Rock-Band “Skunk Anansie”, they forged their musical identity at the “Institut für Wohlklangforschung” in Hannover. The songs were mastered by Troy Glessner (Anberlin, Underoath) in the renowned “Spectre Studios” of Renton, Washington.

After completing the studio production, the band decided to expand their musical spectrum with add-itional sound ground. To this end they added a new keyboardist with whom they are working on new song material in order that 2009 will be their defining year.
